American Academy for Oral Systemic Health - Inaugural Scientific Meeting: Making the Connection

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - May 3, 2011) - The American Academy for Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH) announces its Inaugural Scientific Session in Chicago, June 24-25, 2011. This meeting will bring together leading cardiology and dental authorities to present topics related to the connections between oral and overall health and wellness.

"The Oral Systemic Connection will transform the field of dentistry, and health care in general, far more than did the addition of aesthetic procedures to dentists' offerings," says Daniel A. 'Danny' Bobrow, of AAOSH's executive committee. Dentists and physicians, who properly understand and apply the distinctions of oral-systemic healthcare, enhance their quality of patient care and thereby build stable practices.

Ground breaking advances in preventive cardiology will be presented by Dr. Bradley Bale and Amy Doneen, world leaders in preventive cardiology methods. Dr. Tom Nabors will review and update the new science and applications for salivary diagnostics. Dr. Duane Keller will review novel methods for predictable antimicrobial perio treatments. Dr. Lee Ostler will present how to build professional relationships and how to use new computer programs to automate clinical protocols and physician communications and referrals.
