AEFH Announces 11 Scholarship Winners and Kevin Knebl Delivers High-Impact Keynote Address on "The Social Media Sales Revolution"

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Apr 11, 2012) - Social Media has completely revolutionized the fields of Public Relations and Marketing, and 11 lucky students will not only get some much needed funds to support their education in these endeavors, but they will also get expert advice from author Kevin Knebl, one of the most sought after speakers on Social Media in the world.

Knebl is coauthor of "The Social Media Sales Revolution: The New Rules for Finding Customers, Building Relationships, and Closing More Sales Through Online Networking," and is recognized as a LinkedIn subject matter expert having trained tens of thousands on its effective use since 2004. The AEFH Scholarship Winners for 2012 are: Manuel Casiano II, University of Oklahoma - AEFH Scholarship of $1500; Scott Gilbert, University of Houston - Bill and Sharon Young Media Education Scholarship of $1500; Alexandra Carreno, University of Texas - Bill and Sharon Young Media Education Scholarship of $1500; Kristy Nguyen, Texas Tech - Brett Elliott Education fund of $2000; Torrie Hardcastle, University of Texas - Rich Klein and Bill Fogarty Communications Scholarship of $2000; Brittany Hooey, Sam Houston State - Houston Media Classic Education Fund of $2000; Stacy Saultz, West Texas A&M - Jean Brown Scholarship Fund of $1500; Candace Hartsell, Stephen F. Austin - Locke Bryan Director's Scholarship of $2000; Arturo Lee, Texas A&M - Lopez Negrete Hispanic Marketing Education Scholarship of $2500; Bene Petty, University of Houston - Saurage Research Academic Distinction Scholarship of $1500; and Dylan Nikoletopoulos, Texas Tech - 4-Guys Interactive Scholarship of $1500.

The Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Junior League of Houston, 1811 Briar Oaks Lane, and tickets for the luncheon can be purchased through for $35 for AAF-Houston members; $45 for non-members; and $30 for students.
