American Business Media Devotes January 2008 to Women in Business-to-Business

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 19, 2007) - To celebrate the changing face of the business information industry, American Business Media is proud to announce it will be devoting the entire month of January to today's women in business-to-business. Dedicated efforts include specialized articles, blogs and video broadcasts. ABM's Video Network will feature some of the industry's top female executives, such as Allison Arden, newly appointed publisher of Advertising Age and Creativity, and Deirdre Bigley, VP of Worldwide Advertising & Interactive for IBM.

"We are thrilled as women continue to shatter the glass ceiling and emerge as powerful leaders during a time of industry transformation," said Gordon T. Hughes II, president and CEO of ABM. "I am proud to acknowledge and honor the many achievements of these women with a series of devoted initiatives."

These efforts arrive in conjunction with ABM's inaugural Women in Business-to-Business: Real Stories, Real Successes (http://www.americanbusinessmedia.com/assnfe/ev.asp?ID=126), recognizing the career achievements of today's leading female executives.
