American Goldfields Reports on Nevada Gold Projects

BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 21, 2007) - American Goldfields Inc. (OTCBB:AGFL) is pleased to report on its portfolio of Nevada gold projects.

Hercules Project

American Goldfields' previous drill programs encountered new areas of gold mineralization near surface, but under alluvial cover. The ongoing drilling program is targeting these previously unrecognized gold-rich zones to identify near surface reserves. Drilling is progressing with six holes completed. The company believes the Hercules property contains one of the most significant untested Comstock-type vein systems in the Western United States. The company intends to provide further updates in the next several weeks.

Gilman Project

The Gilman Project has received all permits and is ready to drill. Two to four holes are planned to test a high-grade gold bearing structure at depth. This project has never been tested by drilling. The company is waiting on drill rig availability to commence the program.

Cortez Trend Properties

Regionally, the Crescent Fault, Bankop, and Bullion Mountain properties are located within an area which includes the prolific gold-producing Pipeline/South Pipeline/Cortez Hills deposits.

Over the past nine months all drill results from this winter's drill program were examined and reclamation of drill sites was completed on the Bankop portion. Two drilling programs defined at least three gold rich fault zones within the claim block. These results along with the previous auger sampling have generated targets deeper in the section.

Data compilation and drill targets are currently being generated for the Crescent Fault and Bullion Projects. Permitting of drill sites will commence as soon as targeting is completed.

Imperial Project

With the end of the previous year's drill program reclamation was initiated and completed. The results of drilling indicate two targets remain to be tested. High grade mineralization intersected near the adit requires additional drilling down dip to establish the extent of the veins. Secondly, open ended shallow mineralization at the resource target needs additional drilling to determine the size of the resource.
