LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 10, 2007 -- The American Heart Association (AHA) has named Richard Weisman, CEO of Exotic Cars inside The Forum Shops at Caesars, as the 2007 Heart of Gold Ball Chair. The event will be held Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Wynn Las Vegas. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m.

The American Heart Association will honor Las Vegas legends, Magicians of the Century and Illusionists, Roy Horn and Siegfried Fischbacher, and the UMC Trauma Center for its commitment to serving the Las Vegas community. The event is expected to raise more than $500,000 to support the fight against heart disease and stroke, the nation's No. 1 and No. 3 killers.

"I have lost personal friends to heart disease and stroke. That's why I am committed to doing whatever I can to help reduce these risks. It's an honor and privilege to lead this year's Heart of Gold Ball," says Weisman. "Our honorees, Siegfried & Roy, heroes who continually inspire us to keep up the fight against these diseases, will receive the prestigious Heart of Gold Award. The UMC Trauma Center will receive the Heart of Community Award for the care its staff administered to Roy Horn," adds Weisman.

"UMC Trauma Center is honored to accept this Community Award," says Lacy Thomas, CEO of UMC. "We have a remarkable team of men and women who save lives everyday in the course of doing their jobs with excellence. It's great to see them receive recognition for their efforts."
