American Hiking Society Will Kick-Off National Trails Day® (NTD) on Saturday, June 4th

American Hiking Society will kick-off National Trails Day® (NTD) on Saturday, June 4th.

American Hiking Society's National Trails Day® is an open invitation to all Americans to get outside and celebrate our nation's trails. Join American Hiking Society, non-profit organizations, government agencies and our sponsors at roughly 2,000 NTD events taking place across the country. Celebrated in all 50 states and Canada, American Hiking Society's National Trails Day is sponsored by Backpacker magazine, Columbia, Fetzer®, Merrell, Eastern Mountain Sports, and The North Face, and supported by YMCA of the USA, REI and American Park Network. Federal Partners of NTD are the Bureau of Land Management, Federal Highway Administration, National Park Service, USDA Forest Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Events include hike, bike, and paddle trips, ribbon cutting ceremonies, concerts, horseback rides, trail maintenance projects and so much more!
