The AMM Awards for Steel Excellence support and reflect the extensive efforts companies have undertaken to improve competitiveness and demonstrate excellence in their operations.

AMM's 2010 Awards for Steel Excellence will recognize companies that have achieved distinction in at least one of the categories defined as critical to business success in the years ahead.

AMM will also present the Titan of Steel Award, which recognizes the game-changing contributions of a single individual, whose influence and actions over the past 25 years have altered the course, face and perception of the American steel industry.

The Awards for Steel Excellence celebrate and recognize advancements rooted in pioneering and implementing business improvements that have delivered real change to the steel industry. The judging panel is comprised of leading executives from steel and related industries who will provide an impartial, professional and wide-ranging level of expertise. Judges include Herbert Fastert, former SMS DemagAG executive and veteran steel technology guru, Tom Graham, founding member of T.C.
