American National Announces Historic Number of Newly Contracted Agents

Company Increases Number of New Multiple Line Agents in Past Three Years by 19 Percent

SPRINGFIELD, MO--(Marketwired - April 04, 2016) - In 2015, American National celebrated one of the best recruiting years in the history of the Multiple Line Division, announced Gary Lukovich, vice president of multiple line distribution. The number of newly appointed agents in 2015 was nearly double the number appointed in 2012.

Lukovich credits much of that growth to the Agent Career Program (ACP) that was released in 2013. The innovative ACP provides paid training for American National and Farm Family multiple line agent candidates through Kelly OCG, a third-party, while the interns work alongside established agents to gain business experience.

American National has put in place rigorous growth plans for the immediate future and those plans also call for continued expansion of the agent field force.

"While we have enjoyed tremendous success so far, we are continuing to enhance our agent recruiting, training and support," Lukovich said. "Our field leaders and corporate staff are working together to provide programs and tools that offer new agents a unique opportunity to build and grow a successful business while providing exceptional service to our clients."

American National encourages job seekers of all backgrounds to consider a career in the insurance industry. Dedicated professionals looking for a flexible schedule, an entrepreneurial endeavor, opportunities for leadership and unlimited income potential are invited to consider an American National or Farm Family agent opportunity.
