AMERICAN SYSTEMS Names Mark Fry Regional Representative

Experienced Executive to Further Develop Market in Huntsville, Alabama Region


CHANTILLY, VA--(Marketwire - Feb 27, 2012) - AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a leading provider of federal IT and engineering solutions, today named Mark Fry as Huntsville, Al., Regional Representative. In this role, Fry will leverage the strengths of AMERICAN SYSTEMS' expertise to implement a strategy that will expand the company's footprint within the Huntsville region. More specifically, Fry will pursue opportunities in support of Army Materiel Command (AMC), Federal Law Enforcement, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) in and around Huntsville.

With 30 years of experience in business development and operational roles for U.S. federal government customers, Fry is a seasoned marketing executive. Most recently, Fry served in business development and account management roles for IBM and CSC, providing strategic direction to ensure sustained improvements in quality and customer satisfaction as well as maintaining growth for U.S. Army customers. Prior to this role, Fry served in a variety of roles for companies such as SRA International, TASC, Inc., and General Dynamics, among others.

Fry earned his Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from the University of Central Florida.

Fry is based out of Huntsville, Al., where he belongs to the Association of the U.S. Army, Huntsville Redstone Chapter, and the Greater Huntsville Rotary Club.
