AMERICAN SYSTEMS Selects Jason Frye to Lead Human Capital and Managed Services Offerings

Company's Former C4ISR Strategic Business Area Leader to Assume New Position to Drive Growth, Delivery of Staffing and Managed Service Solutions for Government Customers

CHANTILLY, VA--(Marketwire - September 1, 2009) - AMERICAN SYSTEMS, an IT solutions provider and one of the top 100 employee-owned companies in the U.S., today announced the appointment of Jason Frye to vice president and executive director of the company's Human Capital and Managed Services (HC&MS) offerings. Frye will lead AMERICAN SYSTEMS in providing a wide range of critical staffing and managed service solutions for the company's rapidly growing customer base. He will also expand the HC&MS core lines of business and further position AMERICAN SYSTEMS as a prime candidate for large-scale engineering, integration, implementation, installation, training, and logistical support opportunities.

Frye joined AMERICAN SYSTEMS in 2007 as vice president of the company's C4ISR Strategic Business Area. In this capacity, he advanced AMERICAN SYSTEMS' efforts to develop, test and field innovative systems for the intelligence and defense community's tactical and strategic C4ISR requirements. Prior to AMERICAN SYSTEMS, Frye was the vice president of defense and intelligence for Mediaware International, and also led the Military Operational Support Division at L-3 Communications Government Services, Inc. Frye launched his career in the U.S. Army, where he served for 23 years in the infantry and military intelligence branches.

Frye earned his bachelor's degree in political science and Russian from the University of the State of New York at Albany. He is based out of AMERICAN SYSTEMS' Chantilly office.
