American TonerServ Projects $25 Million Annual Revenue Run Rate by End of 2008; Audio Webcast of Conference Presentation Available

SANTA ROSA, CA--(Marketwire - September 16, 2008) - American TonerServ Corp. (OTCBB: ASVP) ("ATS"), a strategic consolidator in the more than $6.0 billion highly fragmented printer supplies and services industry and a leading recycler of toner cartridges, announced today that Dan Brinker, President and Chief Executive Officer, presenting today at Merriman Curhan Ford's Fifth Annual Investor Summit in San Francisco, will review the company's working financial model, among other topics.

"American TonerServ projects an annual revenue run rate of $25 million by the end of 2008 contingent upon the closing of certain acquisitions that have been announced previously," he said. In his remarks, Mr. Brinker will provide management's assumptions on which this projection is based.

"At the beginning of 2008, our management team was charged with growing ATS through acquisitions of top printer service and supply dealers in major metropolitan areas around the country. In July, we announced a letter of intent to acquire certain assets of iPrint Technologies in California. According to unaudited financial information provided to ATS by iPrint, that business generated approximately $12 million in revenue for the twelve months ended June 30, 2008. This acquisition would be a major milestone for ATS and its completion is contingent upon our ability to secure financing. We are in negotiations to secure financing for the transaction," he said.

In 2007, ATS reported revenue of $3.6 million, and the company has reported revenue of $4.5 million for the first half of fiscal 2008 ended June 30, 2008.

An audio webcast and replay of Mr. Brinker's presentation will be available to interested parties through the American TonerServ website, A link to the webcast and archive is located on the investor relations page. The replay will be available until December 16, 2008.

The Merriman Curhan Ford Investor Summit 2008 will be held at the Mark Hopkins InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco. More information about the conference can be found at
