AmericanPreacher.com Announces "Best Video Sermon" Contest: Grand Prize $500.00

ROANOKE, VA--(Marketwire - Sep 22, 2011) - www.AmericanPreacher.com, a Roanoke-based website developed by Higher Power Media Corporation, is requesting submissions for Video Sermons from Pastors of Christian Churches everywhere. The contest runs between 9/23/2011 through 11/30/2011 and the Grand Prize Winner will receive five hundred dollars ($500.00). Participants may submit as many Video Sermons as they would like to www.AmericanPreacher.com. The video sermons will be voted on message, spirit, creativity and quality. Two second place winners will receive fifty dollars ($50.00) and ten third place winners will receive an AmericanPreacher T-shirt.

AmericanPreacher.com was created to assist Christian Churches of all sizes and Pastors by providing a FREE online home to post video sermons, music programs, and more. Through instaGiving, churches and pastors are able to accept tithes and donations on AmericanPreacher.com. "We want to give people around the world, a place to visit and experience words of hope from a Christian perspective," says David Rakes, president of Higher Power Media Corporation. "Many issues such as health and aging issues, seasonal weather, and transportation problems can keep church members from attending a service. We want to help both the church member and the church by giving anyone with an internet connection the opportunity to not only watch sermons, but to make online donations to the church, as well. It would be a thrill to know that men and women serving our military around the world could watch his or her hometown church sermon online."

All videos submitted during the contest period will be considered a contest entry. Churches and Pastors must join AmericanPreacher.com to post videos. It is easy to join AmericanPreacher.com and it's FREE. Your video will be able to be seen by millions of potential viewers. We encourage you to share God's Word to a worldwide online congregation. "Regardless of what's happening with the economy, hope is not in recession and AmericanPreacher is all about hope. We oppose book burning, the picketing of military funerals, and don't predict the end of time, but we do believe in doing what is right by helping others find hope and a renewed sense of spiritual direction," says David Rakes.
