America's First Supermarket, King Kullen Grocery Co., Inc., Selects Profitect Prescriptive Analytics to Enhance Operations and Improve Profitability

WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwired - June 15, 2016) - Profitect Inc., the leading prescriptive analytics provider for the retail industry, today announced that King Kullen Grocery Co., Inc., an American supermarket chain with 35 Long Island, New York-based King Kullen stores and five Wild by Nature natural food stores, selected Profitect's sales module to initially focus on inventory shrink, fraud-related activities and point-of sale (POS) efficiency.

Seeking to replace a legacy reporting tool, "King Kullen selected Profitect over several competitor offerings for its superior ability to provide actionable information as well as Profitect's ability to quickly integrate historical POS data with minimal use of internal IT resources," said Jim Flynn SVP of Finance & Administration, King Kullen.
