AmericInn Hotels Highlight 2012 Annual National Convention With Special Service Event Supporting Military Families


MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - Apr 24, 2012) - AmericInn, one of the nation's leading mid-scale hotel companies, highlighted its 2012 annual convention, which took place Sunday, April 22nd through Tuesday, April 24th, with a military support outreach event, preparing hundreds of gift-filled tote bags, bicycles and game items to be donated to the families of America's military forces.

In the special convention event, over 500 AmericInn hotel owners, franchisees, managers, vendors and corporate staff collaborated on the preparation of the gift items including stuffing teddy bears, assembling bicycles and packing gift bags with toys, games and activities promoting family time. AmericInn hotels are operating or under development in over 260 locations in 27 states.

Convention participants were joined in the initiative by military support organizations and officials including Blue Star Mothers, the "Beyond The Yellow Ribbon" organization and the Minnesota Department of Military Affairs. The gifts will be distributed to families through these military support organizations.
