Amerix Renews All Exploration Licenses for Vila Porto Rico

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 22, 2006) - Amerix Precious Metals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:APM) today announced that on November 20th, 2006, the DNPM (Departamento Nacional da Producao Mineral - Brazilian Government Mining Bureau) renewed all four of its exploration licenses for the Vila Porto Rico Property pursuant to DNPM Processes Nos. 852.632/93, 852.726/93, 852.677/93, and 852.678/93. These exploration licenses are valid for three years and were granted to Mineracao Vila Porto Rico which is wholly-owned by Amerix.

Drilling at the Vila Porto Rico Property is proceeding and currently is taking place at Ouro Roxo to test the continuity of mineralization between the Ouro Roxo North and South deposits.
