An announcement that rocks: University of Calgary unveils major gift and partnership

Collaboration with Universal Music Canada and National Music Centre will preserve history of music in Canada

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - March 31, 2016) -  Today, Elizabeth Cannon, president and vice-chancellor of the University of Calgary, will announce a unique gift and partnership with Universal Music Canada and the National Music Centre.

The program will include remarks from an iconic Canadian artist who will be available for media interviews afterwards.

Media is offered a preview under the condition of an embargo. The story is under embargo until 2:00 p.m. MDT, 4:00 p.m. EDT. B-roll, interview footage and still images will be available.
