TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 6, 2007) - Anatolia Minerals Development Limited (TSX:ANO) ("Anatolia") is pleased to announce assay results at its 100% owned Copler Gold Project. The map attached to this news release is posted to Anatolia's website (www.anatoliaminerals.com).

The current drill program began October 2006. Earlier results were announced previously (see Anatolia News Releases, dated March 28, 2007, July 12, 2007 and August 15, 2007). These latest results include 24 reverse circulation and 21 diamond core holes, aggregating 4,755 meters. A detailed breakout of these drilling results is posted to our website.

A summary of the most recent Copler drill holes with meaningful results is given below. None of these results were included in the current mine plan or resource estimate for Copler (see Anatolia News Release, dated January 18, 2007 and the Technical Report filed March 2, 2007, both available at www.sedar.com). Anatolia is presently compiling the results of its 2007 drilling program and expects to complete an update of its reserves and resources by late 1st quarter 2008. In 2007 we drilled 32,699 meters, of which 126 were reverse-circulation holes and 70 were diamond drill holes. Given the disseminated nature of the deposit, these intercepts are considered true widths. 'Grams per tonne' is shortened to 'gpt' in the table below:

Richard C. Moores, President of Anatolia, stated, "We are excited by the outstanding results from the 2007 drilling program. The infill and step-out drill holes frequently returned better and thicker zones of mineralization than were anticipated and new mineralized areas and extensions were also encountered. The better-than expected returns and new zones both have the potential to make significant additions to our reserve and resource base in the update slated for early 2008. Hole CRC-605 (124 meters @ 7.3 gpt gold) is a direct, 40-meter step-out from CRC-26 (47 meters of 26 gpt gold) in the Marble Contact Zone and may indicate a previously undefined very high grade segment of the orebody.

The bottom of CRC-601, also in the Marble Contact Zone, cut 6 meters of 12.4% copper as chalcocite-enriched sulfides, below a thick gold-rich gossan. This may be the edge of a high-grade copper deposit containing copper leached from the gold-rich oxides above, enriching primary copper mineralization emplaced as massive sulfides when the Copler deposit was formed. Additional drilling is needed to define the extent of the copper mineralization, which occurs below the planned oxide pit.

In June we submitted Copler's EIA to Turkey's Ministry of the Environment, and met with the agencies involved in July. Additional information and engineering details were requested. These requests required significantly more detailed information than was originally anticipated reflecting changing Turkish requirements as well as Anatolia's continuing commitment to meeting all international standards. The engineering work took considerably more time than predicted, a measure of work loads and over-commitment now common in the industry. The engineering firm's acquisition by another company and subsequent staff changes also had a negative impact on the timely receipt of engineering deliverables, now scheduled for completion mid-December.

The documentation is being translated and formatted by a select Turkish engineering firm and will be delivered to the Ministry of the Environment. We will then request a meeting to review the finalized EIA, and hopefully swift approval, unless additional requests are made. Anatolia has kept the various agencies informed of our progress and does not anticipate any further delays. However, Anatolia does not have any control of the EIA approval process. Given our commitment to provide the best plan attainable, and the professional and open consultation we have had with the agencies over the years, we expect fair treatment."
