Anatolia's Copler Drill Results; Program Expands

Copler Drilling Targets Sulfides and Adds Oxides: CDD-114 cuts 72 meters @ 4.0 gpt gold; CDD-121 cuts 40 meters @ 3.7 gpt gold. Anatolia continues drilling and plans expanded program for balance of 2007.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 28, 2007) - Anatolia Minerals Development Limited (TSX:ANO)("Anatolia") is pleased to announce assay results at its 100% owned Copler Gold Project. The drill program was designed to target underlying sulfides in the Main Zone, previously un-drilled area between the Main Zone and Manganese Mine Zone, and other areas adjacent to presently defined reserves and resources. The map attached to this news release will be posted to Anatolia's website (www.anatoliaminerals.com).

The map mentioned above can be viewed by clicking on the link provided below:

The current drill program began in October 2006. Reported results include 60 reverse-circulation and 12 diamond core holes aggregating 12,588 meters. These results warrant continuation of the drill program and follow-up programs later in 2007. There are 5 drill rigs continuing work at Copler and management is now planning subsequent drill programs expected to begin during the 2nd quarter 2007.

A summary of Copler drill holes with meaningful results is given below. None of these results were included in the current mine plan or resource estimate for Copler (see Anatolia News Release, dated January 18, 2007 and the Technical Report filed March 2, 2007, both available at www.sedar.com). Given the disseminated nature of the deposit, these intercepts are considered true widths.

A more detailed breakout of drilling results for all 72 drill holes will be posted to our website.

Richard C. Moores, President of Anatolia, stated, "This is our first drill program that specifically targets the sulfides. The results are very encouraging, both for sulfides and oxides. Drilling continues and our geologists are now planning an extensive program for the balance of 2007." Mr. Moores added, "Metallurgical testing of the sulfides is nearing completion. We plan to use these results to produce a sulfide preliminary assessment, which will be completed in conjunction with the completion of the sulfide drilling program."

In January 2007, Anatolia made a formal decision to begin development of Copler, focusing on the near surface leachable portion of the deposit. To date, total reserves and resource are 6.3 million ozs gold. Proven and probable reserves are 2.8 million ozs gold. Additional gold resources include measured and indicated oxides of 0.4 million ozs gold, inferred oxides 1.3 million ozs gold, measured and indicated sulfides of 0.7 million ozs gold, and inferred sulfides of 1.1 million ozs gold. Detailed engineering, permitting, equipment procurement, financing and other pre-construction activities are ongoing.

Anatolia currently has 79.2 million common shares issued and outstanding, 85.7 million fully diluted. Anatolia trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange as ANO.
