Anderson Dental Office Thanks Patients During Second Annual Christmas Social

CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwired - January 31, 2015) - Anderson Dental Care held a Christmas social in late December to promote good oral hygiene and to thank its dedicated patients.

During the Dec. 19 event, patients enjoyed holiday treats, met with the staff and received a free copy of the popular children's book, "The Tooth Book" by Dr. Seuss.

Dr. Nathan Brooks, owner of Anderson Dental Care who provides cosmetic dentistry Invisalign treatment, said he was pleased with the turnout and plans to expand the event next year. Anderson Dental Care began the Christmas social in 2013. Dr. Brooks said both patients and staff members have been instrumental in transforming the gathering into one of the most anticipated events of the year.

"It's wonderful to get together with our patients outside of their normal appointment times because we really get to build a relationship that isn't just based on what's going on in the person's mouth," Dr. Brooks said. "Any time a community can get together to simply enjoy each other's company, it's a great experience. We wanted to provide that for our patients; give them time to get to know us and ask questions, and just have a good time."

Anderson Dental Care is a comprehensive family dental clinic that provides preventive dentistry, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and sedation dentistry. Individual services include fillings, fluoride treatment, crowns, implant crowns, bridges, dentures, Invisalign, professional teeth whitening, night guards, mouth guards and dental sealants. The staff is foremost concerned with patient comfort, which is why the practice offers free paraffin wax hand dips, a relaxing treatment typical for a spa but available in this Anderson Township dental office.

Dr. Brooks was raised in West Lafayette, Ind., as the youngest of four children. Dr. Brooks was inspired to become a dentist by his grandfather, who was a biology professor at Purdue University. Dr. Brooks attended Brigham Young University-Idaho for his undergraduate degree and then received his master's degree in biology from Purdue University. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University and has since undergone many hours in continuing education courses to offer services like Invisalign.

Dr. Brooks purchased Anderson Dental Care one year ago, but many of his staff members have been with the office for 20 years or longer. Anderson Dental Care is now accepting a variety of insurances through an in-network provider.

Dr. Brooks is community-oriented and enjoys completing service projects locally and international. Dr. Brooks, who is fluent in Spanish, has treated unserved communities through dental humanitarian trips to Honduras and Ecuador. In addition to his special dental offer in November for men and women in military service, Dr. Brooks offers children free ToothPrints for National Children's Dental Health Month in February.
