Anderson Township Dental Office Offers Back-to-School Special

CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwired - July 14, 2015) - Anderson Dental Care, a leading Anderson Township family dental office, will give away free school supply kits with every child's exam and cleaning in August.

The back-to-school kits will include notebooks, pencils, pens, a ruler, glue, markers, crayons and other supplies. Dr. Nathan Brooks, who operates Anderson Dental Care, said the office is offering the program to ensure that children start the school year cavity-free and have the right school supplies. The school kits are limited, but Dr. Brooks is hoping to reach as many children as possible before the start of the school year.

“We want to help make sure every child is ready for a fantastic school year -- one that includes a healthy mouth,” the Anderson Township dentist said. “Patients benefit by having their existing decay caught early and treated before it becomes worse. They also get free school supplies to help relieve some of the back-to-school shopping stress.”

Tooth decay is more prominent in U.S. children than any other chronic infectious disease. Dental disease and associated sensitivity or pain can cause difficulty eating, speaking, playing and learning. Across the country, children miss millions of hours of class instruction treating dental problems.

“We don't want that for any of our patients or any children in general,” Dr. Brooks said. “We hope that by offering this free gift it will be an extra incentive for parents to bring their children in for exams and cleanings and that the kids will have a great experience with our staff and see the importance of good oral care.”

Anderson Dental Care, 7525 State Road, Suite A, is a comprehensive family dental clinic that provides preventive dentistry, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and sedation dentistry. Individual services include fillings, fluoride treatment, crowns, implant crowns, bridges, dentures, Invisalign, professional teeth whitening, night guards, mouthguards and dental sealants. The staff is foremost concerned with patient comfort, which is why the practice offers free paraffin wax hand dips, a relaxing treatment typical for a spa but available in this Anderson Township dental office.

Dr. Brooks was raised in West Lafayette, Ind., as the youngest of four children. Dr. Brooks was inspired to become a dentist by his grandfather, who was a biology professor at Purdue University. Dr. Brooks attended Brigham Young University-Idaho for his undergraduate degree and then received his master’s degree in biology from Purdue University. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University and has since undergone many hours in continuing education courses to offer services like Invisalign.

Dr. Brooks purchased Anderson Dental Care two years ago, but many of his staff members have been with the office for more than 10 years. They continue to provide the exceptional care patients have come to expect in the office’s more than 30 years of service, and Dr. Brooks continues to enhance the practice with personnel and technology.

Dr. Brooks is community-oriented and enjoys completing service projects locally and internationally. Dr. Brooks, who is fluent in Spanish, has treated underserved communities through dental humanitarian trips to Honduras and Ecuador. In addition to offering free Toothprints, he has a special dental offer in November for men and women in military service.
