Andrea Doyon to Speak on Big Data at the 52nd Congress of the ICCA in Shanghai

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Nov. 4, 2013) - Andrea Doyon, founding partner and CINO of Human Equation, will present a lecture on Big Data Tuesday, November 5th, 2013, as part of the 52nd assembly of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), in Shanghai, China.

The conference, which will be held at 11:00am (EST) at the business tourism industry's largest international event is entitled "Big Data: What it really means, and why it's going to radically transform business models, marketing strategies, and competitiveness in every industry."

Since 2009, Human Equation invested more then 1.5 Million in research and development for Big Data projects, from Cirque du Soleil's recruitment tools, lead generation platforms for Tourisme Montréal to last year Big Data partnership with Microsoft.

Andrea Doyon will explain how certain visionary businesses are using Big Data to extract value from internal and external data sources and will talk about how criminal forensic science can help solve some of the challenges of Big Data analysis.

"These days, it's almost impossible to read a business magazine without being struck by the extent to which these new technological tools have become integral when it comes to harvesting extremely precise, quality information," said Andrea Doyon.

"We're at the apex of our ability to exploit web intelligence and use Big Data as a primary asset in all aspects of the business spectrum, from business-development, recruitment, monitoring, risk management an many more."

"It is now not a question of what is the Return on Investment (ROI) of Big Data, it is a question of what is its Non Acquisition Cost (NAC). Can we really afford, in 2013, not to have a business plan regarding Big Data in our enterprise."

Human Equation has made a name for itself with its own platform, Echo Alpha, a Open-Data analysis technology which has conducted more than 15.7 million cyber-investigations in the last 4 years.
