Andreas Zauner Wins Paradise Poker Tour Vienna

Czech Player Beats 298 Opponents To Lift First PPT Title Of New Season At Concord Card Casino In Austrian Capital

Andreas Zauner of the Czech Republic has won the ParadisePoker Tour Vienna topping a 299-strong field in the €500 buy in event at the Concord Card Casino at the weekend.

In a novel twist to the end of the €125,000 guaranteed tournament, and much to the delight to the assembled rail birds, Zauner, Milan Zaric and Ferenc Bartha agreed a three-way deal around midnight and agreed to a one-hand turnover for the trophy. The cards they tabled were:

Zauner: Js 3h

The board fell Jd 4d 2h 2c 9c and Zauner was crowned champion the first champion of season three of the ParadisePoker Tour.

The second stop on season three of the ParadisePoker Tour is Barcelona where the Tour will roll into the Gran Casino from November 23 to 27, 2011. Players can qualify for the €125,000 main event from as little as €0.30c with seven €1,200 packages guaranteed every week – two on Tuesday, two on Thursday and three on Sunday at 18:30 GMT.
