Andrew Williams Appointed as CEO of DHL Express, Canada

DHL, the world's leading international express services provider, announced today that Andrew Williams has been appointed to lead the Express organization in Canada as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Williams most recently served as the Vice President of Sales, DHL Express for the Americas Region.

Williams joined DHL Express Canada in October 2002, first serving as Director of Sales for Eastern Canada and then Regional Vice President for Ontario before becoming Vice President - Commercial for DHL Express Canada in 2009. For two years, he led a team of five directors and a staff of 265 employees.

He then accepted the leadership role as the Vice President - Commercial for DHL Express Americas region in January 2012, based in Plantation, Florida. He oversaw the commercial divisions throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean, managing a region that consists of 53 countries and more than 950 sales, retail and marketing professionals. The region has enjoyed double digit growth and a steady expansion of market share during this time. He is currently a member of the DHL Express Americas Management Board and will remain in this capacity as CEO, DHL Express Canada.

Williams is a graduate of the Wilfrid Laurier School of Business and Economics in Waterloo, Canada and École Supérieure de Commerce in Rennes, France.

Williams replaces Greg Hewitt who served as DHL Express President since 2011. Hewitt will take on the role of Area General Manager, Northeast US for DHL Express USA.
