Andy Geisse, Former CEO of AT&T Business Solutions, Joins iSIGHT Partners Board of Directors

Geisse Joins as an Independent Director to Support Continued Global Expansion, OEM and Strategic Partnership Strategies

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - Oct 27, 2015) - iSIGHT Partners, Inc., the leading provider of cyber threat intelligence for global enterprises, today announced the appointment of Andy Geisse, former CEO of AT&T Business Solutions, as an independent director of the firm.

Mr. Geisse's appointment expands the Board to three directors. In addition to Mr. Geisse, the board comprises John Watters, founder, CEO and Chairman, and David Cowan, Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners.

"The security industry is ready for a fundamental shift away from reactionary, event driven responses and towards proactive, intelligence led strategies," said John Watters, founder and CEO. "We've paved the way for this shift at iSIGHT, and we intend to continue driving innovation as the market leader in cyber threat intelligence. A core component of our strategic vision is integration across the security ecosystem -- fusing threat intelligence into the technologies and workflows that make up defense-in-depth. Andy's experience with global operations, with major OEM and strategic partnership strategies, and his background as a CIO for one of the largest companies in the world, make him an ideal fit for iSIGHT as we execute on this vision."

Mr. Geisse is a 35 year veteran of the telecom industry who has served in a variety of key executive leadership positions for AT&T's wireline and wireless organizations, both in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to his role as CEO of AT&T Business Solutions, Mr. Geisse served as Executive Vice President of AT&T's Global Customer Service and as Chief Information Officer for AT&T worldwide.

"iSIGHT is in an incredible position as the pioneer and market leader in the hottest segment of the security industry," said Andy Geisse. "Their vision for the future of cyber threat intelligence -- and for the security industry as a whole -- is what convinced me to accept this appointment. iSIGHT is heavily invested in driving pervasive integration of threat intelligence across security technologies -- through OEM agreements, technology alliances and a top-notch API -- and they're working closely with clients to re-invent security workflows with intelligence at the core. I look forward to helping them in every way possible."

This announcement comes at a time of significant market momentum for the firm with a client base that includes seven of the top ten U.S. banks, more than 250 local, state and federal government agencies across the globe, and major companies across energy, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and other sectors.

In August of this year, the company announced expansion within the region of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), with the opening of a Threat Analysis Center and Sales office in Sydney, Australia. In April, the company announced the acquisition of Idaho-based Critical Intelligence, the leader in cyber situational awareness and threat intelligence for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) owners and operators. That move came on the heels of the January announcement of a $30M investment by Bessemer Ventures Partners and its February announcement of expansion of operations in the EMEA region.
