Angus Announces $1 Million Loan

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 12, 2011) - Angus Mining (Namibia) Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ANA) ("Angus" or the "Company") is pleased to announce a proposed $1,000,000 unsecured loan with an arm's length third party (the "Lender").

The proposed loan will be utilized to pay the cash consideration portion of the purchase price for a majority equity stake in Silver Reef Resources Ltd. announced on June 16, 2011.

The loan will bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum payable monthly and shall have a term of 12 months. In consideration for providing the loan, the Lender will be issued 400,000 common shares of Angus upon closing of the loan transaction.

The closing of the loan transaction is subject to the receipt of all required regulatory approvals. The common shares issued to the Lender will be subject to a 4 month holding period.
