Animal Rescue Network: A Good Cause to Adopt!

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 22, 2005) - The Animal Rescue Network (ARN), the largest non-kill shelter in Montreal, has for a mission to find homes for abandoned animals, and to help control the animal population by sterilization; we function only on a donation basis.

The ARN has an urgent need of volunteers for its various teams (emergency, fund raising, communications, adoptions...). We are also looking for temporary foster homes to take care of adult cats and kittens, and dogs, until they are adopted.

We hold adoption clinics every Saturday, with the collaboration of different animal accessories and food stores. Our next adoption clinics will be on Saturdays:

- August 27th, from 11:00 to 4:00, Maxine Bailey
6165 Monkland (NDG)

- August 27th, from 10:00 to 4h00, Rosedale Church
(also a bake sale!!)
6820 Terrebonne (NDG)

- September 3rd, from 10:00 to 4:00, J.E. Mondou
90 Jean-Talon East (Little Italy)

- September 3rd, from 11:00 to 4:00, Le Reveil du Maitre
