Animal Rescue Network: A Good Cause to... Adopt!

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 19, 2005) - The Animal Rescue Network (ARN), the largest non-kill shelter in Montreal, has for a mission to find homes for abandoned animals, and to help control the animal population by sterilization; we function only on a donation basis.

We hold adoption clinics every Saturday, with the collaboration of different animal accessories and food stores, notably J.E. Mondou. Our next adoption clinics will be on Saturdays:

- October 22nd, from 10:00 to 4:00, J.E. Mondou, many kittens!
10315 Lajeunesse (Ahunstic)

- October 29th, from 11:00 to 4:00, Maxine Bailey
6165 Monkland (NDG)

- November 5th and 6th, Salon des animaux de compagnie
Olympic Stadium

The ARN has an urgent need of volunteers for its various teams (emergency, fund raising, communications, adoptions...). We are also looking for temporary foster homes to take care of adult cats and kittens, and dogs, until they are adopted.
