Annual Reports: For the Second Year in a Row, CG3 Is the Biggest Winner Among Canadian Studios at the Vision Awards

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 8, 2008) - The CG3 team is very proud to announce that for the second year in a row, CG3 was the biggest winner among Canadian graphics studios at the Vision Awards, a contest organized by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) which this year featured more than 3,000 annual reports from 20 countries. The contest is notable for its emphasis on effectiveness in communication: graphics, creativity, themes, presentation of key messages, clarity, quality of writing, etc.

CG3 and its clients accumulated a total of 10 Vision Awards: two Top 100 (Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec and Telefilm Canada), one Platinum Overall (CDPQ), one Gold Overall (Telefilm), one Gold Most Engaging (CDPQ), two Silver Overall (Loto-Quebec and Business Development Bank of Canada) and three Bronze Overall (Gildan, Societe des alcools du Quebec and Societe generale de financement). The work of CG3 and its clients was also recognized at the Arc Awards, winning five awards, including a Silver, a Bronze and an Honour for the CDPQ annual report, as well as two Bronze for those of BDC and Gildan.

CG3 also congratulates BDC and Telefilm for their Award of Excellence for corporate reporting by a Crown Corporation, presented by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants last December.

CG3 is even more proud that these awards recognize the quality and the communication impact of these prize-winning annual reports, which is in perfect harmony with our global approach to annual reports.

In summary, CG3 has won 10 LACP awards, including two top 100s for the Caisse de depot (11th place) and Telefilm Canada (89th place). Ardoise, another Montreal studio, has won seven awards but no top 100. Finally, Nonfiction Studios, a western Canadian studio, has won six awards including one top 100, for Canadian Natural Resources (96th place).
