Anord Expands Quality and Safety Focus

SANDSTON, VA--(Marketwired - May 12, 2016) -   Anord Critical Power, Inc. (ACPI), a recognized leader and innovator in the power distribution market, today announced the appointment of Jerry Lee Walter, Jr. as Quality and Safety Manager. Walter will be located in the company's Virginia U.S. headquarters and will assume responsibility for enhancing the quality and safety associated with the company's Anord Modular Product (AMP) PDU.

Walter brings over 20 years of experience enhancing product quality for several of the industry's largest organizations. Prior to joining Anord, Walter was employed by Honeywell as the company's Quality Assurance/Quality Control/Reliability Engineer. In this position, he was responsible for contractor approval, creating procedures and an equipment criticality matrix, performing audits during shutdowns, and ensuring compliance with Honeywell's quality program. In addition, Walter was Quality Manager at Aleris Aluminum, where he was responsible for plant quality and driving continuous improvement of 1^st pass yield, performing root-cause analysis and issuing corrective actions, as well as approving customer trials before shipment and managing test lab and support HSE initiatives. Prior employment includes Quality Engineer at Power Distribution Incorporated (PDI) and process leader at Novelis Aluminum.
