Anthony's Homeport Installs Dinerware in 18 Locations

SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 2, 2007 -- Dinerware, Inc., the Seattle-based leading developer of restaurant POS software, assisted a customer-led deployment of its point-of-sale system in 18 of the 23 Anthony's Restaurant locations, with plans to install two more in March 2007. Anthony's Restaurants, owned by Mad Anthony's Inc., decided to install Dinerware in all 23 locations after an exhaustive survey of the competition. While a relative newcomer to the restaurant point-of-sale software industry, it was Dinerware's lower total cost of ownership and reliable technology that set it apart from the other restaurant POS software providers for Anthony's.

After careful consideration and input from the home office, general managers, and members of their wait staff, the project team lead, Geri Sellers, backed by CFO Ray Caldwell, and owner Budd Gould, decided to deploy Dinerware throughout all of Anthony's restaurant locations. With Dinerware's restaurant POS software, the General Managers at each Anthony's location now have control of their POS system and can make their own menu changes, create new jobs, add employees, and access critical reports. This ability to take ownership of the software allows the operator to make changes quickly, and with less support.

Anthony's Restaurants anticipates that using Dinerware products will save it $150,000 to $200,000 a year in service-related costs. Also, the software itself communicates on a native TCI/IP network, was developed on Microsoft's .NET framework, and utilizes the Microsoft SQL Server database. Each component is an industry standard, and increases the systems accuracy and reliability. Ray Caldwell (Anthony's CFO) stated that "As an organization, we are very concerned with the accuracy of information. We spent too much time with the previous system correcting errors and the data entry was difficult to work with -- the ability to have accurate information without repair has been very helpful."
