Anybill President Remarks on Accounts Payable Automation at IAPP Fusion Conference in Orlando

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - May 9, 2011) - Anybill, Inc., the leading provider of complete, on-demand AP automation software and services and the developer of enterprise-scale Critical AP solutions announced today that Peter Bepler, Anybill President and Co-Founder, will be part of an expert panel discussing the findings of the International Accounts Payable Professionals (IAPP) "Accounts Payable Automation Survey" on May 10th at IAPP's Fusion Conference in Orlando. The survey offers clear evidence that although paper is becoming less prevalent in the AP process, it remains the dominant documentation and payment form.

Anybill President and Co-Founder, Mr. Bepler summarized the progress of AP technology by remarking, "We continue to observe, in agreement with the IAPP survey findings, that AP practices remain largely paper-based. While many companies are moving to fully automated AP, most organizations have yet to take advantage of the efficiencies of on-demand technology & services. We believe that one of the primary reasons for the slow adoption of automation in AP is because AP is too often treated as an isolated tactical process. Firms that have made the switch from paper-based AP operations to the Software-as-a-Service model tell us that the automated process delivers a host of benefits -- economy, control and transparency and labor savings among them. In the process, they have found that Accounts Payable is actually a strategic business process that offers benefits beyond just getting the bills paid."

IAPP is the largest, fastest growing and most authoritative professional association addressing Accounts Payable and the Procure-to-Pay field. Its annual May Fusion Conference and Exposition is the premiere event for thousands of AP and financial operations leaders to gain the latest and best AP knowledge, training, connections and resources.
