After the company was acquired by Ask Jeeves, he managed the U.K. rollout of its Business Solutions group before becoming COO of Ask Jeeves, U.K. and Ireland.
Additionally, Gerken served as general manager of European operations at Mirror Image Internet, Inc., where he developed the roll out strategy and managed the company's rapid growth.
