ApacheCon North America 2013 -- Conference Keynotes Announced

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - February 06, 2013) - The Apache Software Foundation announces ApacheCon Keynotes (http://na.apachecon.com/keynotes/ ) by thought leaders Theo Shlossnagle, OmniTI; Steve Holden, The Open Bastion and Luke Kanies, Puppet Labs.

The Apache Software Foundation (ASF), established in 1999, oversees 150+ Apache projects led by a volunteer community of over 350 individual Members and 3,000 Committers across six continents. Apache powers half the Internet, terabytes of data, teraflops of operations and billions of objects. Its aim is to shepherd, develop, and incubate Open Source innovations.

ApacheCon is the ASF's official conference that also includes BarCamp, tutorials, hackathons, lightning talks, BoFs and Meetups. 

This year's event dates are from 24 February-2 March 2013. ApacheCon will take place at the Hilton Portland and Executive Towers, Portland, OR.

In addition to the keynotes there will be hands-on trainings and general conference sessions that will cover topics such as Big Data, Hadoop, CloudStack, and the Apache HTTP Server.
