APEGBC/Media Advisory: Peak of Excellence Awards Celebrate Outstanding Engineering Achievements

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 19, 2008) - The Sea to Sky Branch of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC) is pleased to honour the work of exceptional engineers at the 2008 Peak of Excellence Awards. The Peak of Excellence Award celebrates outstanding engineering work in the Sea to Sky region, which encompasses the area from North Vancouver to Lillooet. The winning project will be chosen from the following finalists:

- Fraser River Flood Modelling - by Northwest Hydraulic Consultants

- Whistler Sliding Centre - by Stantec
