SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 23, 2014) - Apigee today announced that two new executives have recently joined its management team to support the company's global expansion and rapid growth. Stacey Giamalis has joined Apigee as senior vice president and chief counsel, and Denise Persson has been appointed the company's chief marketing officer (CMO). Both industry veterans have specific experience with high growth companies in emerging markets and were selected to guide Apigee through its next phase.

"As more and more organizations embrace the power and agility provided by APIs and big data to become truly digital businesses, our market opportunity will continue to expand," said Chet Kapoor, Apigee CEO. "At this point in Apigee's evolution, it's crucial that we have the experience, wisdom and counsel of a highly seasoned leadership team.
