APII Sales Flourish With New Looks and New Products for '07

Action Products Enjoys Success at American International Toy Fair

ORLANDO, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 22, 2007 --Commencing its 30th anniversary with rousing success, Action Products International Inc. (NASDAQ: APII), a leading designer and manufacturer of educational specialty toy and craft brands, received an enthusiastic response to its updated Curiosity Kits® brand and its latest product introductions at the American International Toy Fair held last week in New York City. The event is the largest toy trade event in the Western hemisphere, where exhibitors present the newest and hottest products in the children's entertainment marketplace.

"Our new booth display is unlike any in Action Products' history," said Rick Malagodi, president and chief operating officer of Action Products International Inc. "The look and positioning of our Curiosity brand is completely redesigned based on consumer research conducted by professional research and design firms. Toy retailers were highly receptive to the (toy-industry) debut of new Curiosity Kits' logo, packaging, positioning and merchandising display. In addition to Curiosity Kits, all of our brands drew strong interest from overseas markets. Aided by a lower U.S. dollar and new products, we believe our international business is about to enter a significant growth phase in addition to returning growth in our domestic business."

Action Products' newest items and popular brands were showcased to the approximately 20,000 buyers and industry professionals from more than 90 countries. Posting strong sales across the four-day event, the company wrote on site orders totaling six-figures and received more than 300 leads from specialty toy and museum buyers.

In addition to heavy traffic from buyers, nearly 15 reporters and editors from leading consumer magazines, daily newspapers and trade publications came to check out the new products in all seven Action Products brands. TDMonthly filmed a demonstration on new Curiosity Kits® products that will appear on in coming weeks.

Action Products International will next participate in the Western States Toy & Hobby Association exhibit this March in Pomona, California.
