Aplix Becomes the Maintenance Lead for MIDP2.0 and Java™ APIs for Bluetooth

TOKYO--(Marketwire - June 3, 2009) - Aplix Corporation is proud to announce that the company has assumed the role as the Maintenance Lead for two major Java Specification Requests (JSRs) for Java™ Micro Edition (ME), Mobile Information Device Profile 2.0 (MIDP2.0) and Java™ APIs for Bluetooth. As a Java™ ME Executive Committee member of the Java Community Process (JCP) and the new Maintenance Lead for the two JSRs, Aplix looks forward to bringing its many years of industry experience to enable a successful future in mobile Java.
