Apoquindo Minerals Inc. Increases Size of Non-Brokered Private Placement

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 10, 2009) - Apoquindo Minerals Inc. ("Apoquindo" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:AQM)(BVLAC:AQM) is pleased to announce that the non-brokered private placement offering announced on June 1, 2009 has been increased from 7,700,000 units to 11,000,000 units at a price of $0.65 per unit. As a result of this increase, the maximum gross proceeds for this private placement will increase from $5,005,000 to $7,150,000. Each unit will consist of one common share and one-half of one share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share for two years at a price of $0.90 during the first year at a price of $1.10 during the second year. The private placement is subject to regulatory approval.

The proceeds of the private placements will be used to fund exploration programs on Apoquindo's mineral properties and for general working capital purposes.
