Application Deadline Draws Near for Nimsoft Best Practices in Managed Services Award

Managed Service Providers Worldwide Invited to Apply by August 31 Deadline

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - August 14, 2007) - Nimsoft, Inc., an emerging leader of Service Level Management (SLM) solutions, today announced that managed service providers are invited to submit their applications for Nimsoft's Best Practices in Managed Services Award. The Best Practices Program is a global awards initiative designed to acknowledge innovation and excellence amongst managed service providers. The entries will be judged by an independent panel of industry analysts and industry experts in the IT industry. Applicants will be evaluated in the areas of innovative business strategies, values and ethics, and customer satisfaction in addition to cost-effectiveness in service delivery. The deadline for the award submissions is Aug. 31. The award is open to any managed service provider worldwide.

An analyst from an independent IT industry analyst firm, Forrester Research, has joined Nimsoft's judging panel. Forrester Principal Analyst Peter O'Neill will join fellow judges Lisa Ericsson-Harris, research director of Enterprise Management Associates, Charles Weaver, president of the MSP Alliance and Mike Vizard, editorial director of Ziff Davis Media's Enterprise Technology Group.

Forrester Principal Analyst Peter O'Neill has broad knowledge of the IT marketplace and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure management technologies and processes. As a judge for Nimsoft's Best Practices Awards, he will evaluate how MSPs are balancing the high demand for remote management of IT infrastructure with the new challenges posed by customer demands for business continuity measured by stringent service level agreements.

Award winners will receive gold, silver and bronze recognition at ceremonies held at Nimsoft's N-fluence customer conferences in November.
