                             Application for New Queensland Tenements

All Star Minerals plc ("All Star" or "the Company"), the PLUS-quoted natural resource exploration
and investment company, is pleased to announce that its portfolio companies have applied for two
new tenements in Queensland, Australia.

BRILLIANT BRUMBY II

Jodo Gold Pty Ltd, currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has recently made an
application for 24 sub-blocks adjacent to the north-eastern boundaries of its Brilliant Brumby
project. The 24 sub-blocks will be known as Brilliant Brumby II.

The rationale for applying for Brilliant Brumby II is to cover the northern extent of the Early
Bird prospect, a large magnetic low feature which is adjacent to a regional north-east trending
fault. There are also a series of northeast trending dykes intersecting the area which may be a
locus for gold mineralisation.

EDWARD EXTENSION

Blue Doe Gold Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Blue Doe Gold plc, in which All Star holds
50,000,000 ordinary shares, has recently applied for 37 sub-blocks adjacent to the north and east
of the Edward project.

The rationale for applying for the extension to the Edward project is to cover potential targets
for copper and gold mineralization. A recent analysis of historic sampling results from 2005-2006
on the Edward project revealed extremely high copper grades. Of the 25 rock chip samples taken, 18
assayed over 0.87% copper, with the highest five samples returning 7.36%, 6.93%, 6.54%, 5.78%, and
5.35% copper. The samples were all taken from an area in the north-west of the Edward project. The
newly applied area covers the north-west extent of the granitoid hosting the stated copper
results.

Any further news will be announced by the Company in due course.

The Directors of All Star are responsible for the contents of this announcement.
