Applied DNA Sciences Announces Record Date for Annual Stockholders' Meeting

STONY BROOK, NY--(Marketwired - December 19, 2016) - Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: APDN) ("Applied DNA"), a provider of DNA-based supply chain, anti-counterfeiting and anti-theft technology, product genotyping and product authentication solutions, announced that its Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on March 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM ET at the CEWIT in Stony Brook, New York. Applied DNA also announced that its Board of Directors has set the close of business on January 9, 2017 as the record date for determining who may vote at the meeting. All stockholders as of the record date are invited to attend the Annual Meeting where Dr. James A. Hayward, Chairman, President and CEO will discuss the latest accomplishments of the company.
