(OTCBB: APDN), a provider of DNA-based anti-counterfeiting technology and product authentication solutions, is pleased to announce that it has recently invested in experienced sales and marketing veterans across the graphic communication, textile, microchip, semi-conductor and other-consumer electronic sectors.

Sales Management, Secure Documents
Dave Wigfield has been appointed Vice President-Sales APDN, to bring customer focus across the company and lead the expansion of the sales team. Previously, Dave was Managing Director and General Manager for Eastman Kodak's Graphic Communications Group in the U.S. and Canada. Kodak is a leader in providing digital printing, prepress workflow, and conventional lithographic solutions and services to the industrial printing and packaging industry. Before leading this billion dollar division of Kodak, Dave was based in Brussels as V.P. Sales for Creo Products in Europe, Middle East and Africa, which was acquired by Eastman Kodak in 2005. Dave received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado and a high school degree from the International School of Geneva, Switzerland. Along with excellent customer focus, Dave's experience will bring best practice and sales operations to benefit the expansion of APDN, its customers and partners as the company grows.

DNA in Textiles
Tom Gladtke, Director of Sales (Textiles), joined APDN to help increase its global textile market share to include fibre, yarn, fabric, finished products and textile printing. Tom brings over 25 years of experience in this field to the team. Tom previously worked in the Home Textile industry where he represented international fabric manufacturers from around the world. Tom has worked with a wide variety of different textiles and sold to a large number of customers in a large variety of industries. Tom was specifically involved in sales management /business development and global sourcing with a corporate emphasis to increase U.S. market share and expand operations into new verticals. Through years of experience, Tom brings particular strengths in bridging hi-tech technology to everyday application, as well as being highly experienced in the development and management of startup companies.

Security, Semiconductors and Microelectronics
Larry McIntosh, Director of Sales (Electronics), has 20 years of sales experience in the microprocessor, semiconductors and other electronic-driven industries, and possesses a wealth of B2B experience in selling technology-enabled services and products. Larry will substantially elevate APDN's sales efforts, particularly as the Company begins to enter the fields of marking microchips, and works to continue to expand APDN's reach within the government and commercial sectors for these applications. Prior to joining us, Larry was at AMD as Director of Sales, North America and also worked at ATI Technologies for a number of years. In addition, Larry understands the growth challenges faced by small companies, and will help our team develop and maximize the sales opportunities to ensure our success going forward.
