AppMesh Closes Series A Funding Led by InterWest Partners

AppMesh Showcases Impressive Growth and Market Momentum for Mobile Sales Enablement and Adds CRM Heavyweights as Investors

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 4, 2013) - AppMesh, a leading Mobile Sales Enablement and CRM solution, today announced it has completed a $3 million investment led by InterWest Partners. Existing investors participated in the round and were joined by new investors, executive members of the Siebel Systems Founders' Circle, including David Schmaier, Steve Mankoff and Peter Lim, as well as TDF Ventures. The new investing executive team will join the newly formed AppMesh Advisory Board. Following its initial launch less than six months ago, the Company will use these funds to further its product features and capabilities to meet the impressive and growing demand for its platform. These funds bring total investment in AppMesh to $4 million.

AppMesh brings sales into the mobile era with a full suite of responsive, personalized and intuitive sales productivity tools and tracking capabilities. Whether working individually or as part of a team, the AppMesh platform enables salespeople to increase their productivity by having instant access to their data anywhere, anytime, online or offline. Unlike any other solution available, AppMesh has tackled mobile CRM in a new way and -- coupled with impressive demand for its platform -- this investment will enable the company to further innovate for the ever-changing needs of the individual mobile business user. AppMesh has been able to deliver a mobile solution that not only changes the way salespeople view the way they are able to manage their customers, but takes them beyond the abilities of traditional CRM capabilities, ensuring increased productivity with access to all of their data regardless of connectivity to Wi-Fi or the Internet.

"AppMesh is transforming the way salespeople work by building CRM geared specifically to ease the pain points of the sales representative rather than for the sales management team. We deliver information to the salesperson and offer the most intuitive, accessible and efficient way to organize customer engagement information," said Leo Tenenblat, CEO and co-founder of AppMesh, Inc. "With this investment, we will focus on increasing the level of functionality within our platform to further empower salespeople that are embracing the mobile era. We are ready to take AppMesh to the next level and with this investment that is exactly where we are heading."

"AppMesh is changing the world of CRM. They bring new efficiency, accuracy and meaning to each and every salesperson and they do it in a way that is easily deployable and easily accessible," said Bruce Cleveland, general partner at InterWest Partners. "We're excited to be a partner in their continued success."

AppMesh does not require Wi-Fi or a cellular data plan and enhances the application's mobile-first design that uniquely addresses the needs of salespeople in the mobile era. After its initial launch in early April of 2013, the application is already being used by thousands of salespeople across the world who are taking advantage of its unmatched speed and responsiveness, post-Cloud model for real-time information access, regardless of connectivity, and contextual awareness through integration with phone, email and calendar apps.

The latest version of AppMesh is available today and still free of charge for individuals and teams of up to five from iTunes:
