Appnomic Systems Releases OpsOne 4.0 Enterprise SaaS IT Process Automation Platform

Solution Packs and High Availability Features Take IT Process Automation (ITPA) to the Next Level

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 5, 2012) - Appnomic Systems, the leading provider of preventive IT performance management solutions, today announced OpsOne 4.0, the latest version of its pioneering IT Process Automation (ITPA) platform. OpsOne 4.0 offers Integrated Solution Packs, Out-of-the-Box integration with service desks, and High Availability deployment to ensure among the fastest, easiest and most reliable cross-domain automation solutions for enterprise IT Operations.

Appnomic's OpsOne 4.0 enables cross-domain and practical automation to improve productivity of IT and data center operational processes including private or hybrid Cloud operations. With OpsOne, organizations can improve SLAs and enforce compliance with internal and regulatory standards. The enterprise platform is available as either a dedicated on-premise solution or in a Software as a Service (SaaS) form.

OpsOne has always encompassed the Gartner1 core three functions of ITPA and now OpsOne 4.0 adds high reliability and Integrated Solutions Packs to the list:

  • A tool workflow designer that provides a mechanism to document the process workflow
  • An automation engine at the heart of the tool
  • An integration and visualization framework provides a dashboard for debugging and monitoring the execution of the workflow(s) with reporting capabilities. This framework also provides connectors or adaptors that enable tool-to-tool integration needed for both cross-domain workflows

OpsOne 4.0 delivers these key functional elements in a simple and extensible platform focused on automating IT operations day-to-day 'Keep the Lights On' tasks as well as mission critical operations. In fact, approximately 70 percent of all routine operational tasks can be automated with these templatized solutions. OpsOne solution pack customers can configure process templates for user-specified requirements that maximize application efficiency and create customizable dashboards that allow users to view relevant data specific to each customer's unique business needs.

OpsOne 4.0's innovations enables IT operators and end users the ability to design richer and more intuitive service portals -- without having to write code. It includes dynamic workflows that adapt automatically based on the person requesting IT service and IT operations professional working on the workflow, while adhering to SLA guidelines.

High Availability
With support for high-availability, large enterprises running critical IT operations on OpsOne can now confidently achieve 100% uptime and comply with enterprise DR/BCP guidelines. This feature is critical for organizations where systems and related automations have to be available 24x7x365. OpsOne now supports active and standby instances. If the active instance goes down, the standby instance immediately takes over. OpsOne 4.0 offers enterprise class security with LDAP integration.
