Appointment Notice: Claude Hardy Named Vice-President and General Manager, Sales & Marketing for Quebec at Van de Water-Raymond

LAVAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Dec. 1, 2015) - Van de Water-Raymond, a family-owned 3PL logistics and management services company, is proud to announce the appointment of Claude Hardy to the role of Vice-President and General Manager, Sales & Marketing for the Quebec market. He will take on the management of the entire sales team to support the company in achieving its sales and business objectives. Hardy's leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, complemented by his strategic planning and communications experience will undoubtedly make him a great asset to the Van de Water-Raymond team.

With a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, Claude Hardy began his career working for three years as a Product Manager at Michelin. From 1987-1991, Hardy moved in to Canada-wide sales management for Tokai International Holdings Inc. From 1991-1993, still in sales management - but now in groceries - he was at WG Clark, before taking on trade marketing management at Johnson & Johnson from 1993 to 1995. Following a stretch at Paragon Trade Brands, Hardy joined Van de Water-Raymond as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing from 1998 to 2003, before further broadening his experience in the pharmaceutical industry at McKesson Canada, as Director of Purchasing, OTC, Consumer and Home Health Care products. Returning to Van de Water-Raymond, Hardy will be able to benefit the entire company with his 30 years of experience, and he will actively participate in its continued growth.
