Appointments of Vice President, Marketing and Investor Relations Consultant

VAUDREUIL-DORION, QC, Nov. 3 - Immunotec Inc. (TSX-V:IMM)
today announced the appointments of Ron Wigdor as Vice President, Marketing
and Serge Comeau as Investor Relations Consultant.

the roles of Vice President, Marketing and Investor Relations Consultant,
respectively, at Immunotec," said James A. Northrop, President and Chief
Executive Officer. "Both bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge
that will be invaluable. The arrival of Ron will free up Ken Reid, Executive
Vice President, Sales & Network Operations, to concentrate on the continued
growth and further development of our distribution network of independent
distributors. "

Ron has over twenty years experience in the fields of marketing and
communications. Prior to joining Immunotec, he held senior positions in
packaged goods and corporate services marketing, focusing on brand building
and market share growth. Ron has also gained experience at several advertising
agencies and in marketing consulting.

Serge specializes in the representation of public companies in the life
sciences and resource sectors. He will assist Immunotec in gaining increased
exposure to investors through the dissemination of corporate information to a
network of online venues, brokerage firms, financial institutions and private
investors. This initiative reinforces the company's commitment to improve
communications and information flow to its shareholders and the investment

The consulting agreement with Serge Comeau is a renewable 12-month
contract (subject to 30 days notice), at a monthly fee of $ 4,500 and a grant
of 100,000 stock options at a price of $ 1.13 per share, which was approved by
the Board of Directors on October 29, 2008. The closing price of Immunotec
shares was $ 0.45 on October 28, 2008.


Immunotec is engaged primarily in the development and marketing of
dietary supplements, food, vitamins, personal care products and natural health
products, some of which are manufactured on its behalf by third parties.
Immunotec's products are distributed and sold in Canada and the United States
through a network marketing system and in other countries under
distributorship agreements. Immunotec operates out of a 37,000 square foot
facility located in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Québec, Canada as well as a
manufacturing facility located in Blainville, Québec, Canada and a
distribution centre located in Swanton, Vermont, USA.
