Apprion Names Jason Glende as VP of U.S. Sales

Leading Provider of Industrial Wireless Application Systems Appoints Executive With Customer Focused Experience and Talent for Boosting Sales

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 22, 2012) - Apprion, the leading provider of wireless application systems and services for industrial facilities, today announced that Jason Glende has joined the team as Vice President of U.S. Sales. With more than a decade of experience in sales and engineering in process automation for the oil and gas industries, Glende brings to Apprion a road-tested enthusiasm for creating highly effective sales teams, and driving cross-functional standards to boost the sales and operations process. Glende will be responsible for sales of Apprion's entire ION System family.

Glende began his career as a sales estimating consultant at Honeywell Industrial Control in Houston, TX, after graduating from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, with a BSc. from the College of Electrical Engineering. After a spell as a senior engineer, still at Honeywell, he began his career in sales as an Account Manager for the Hi-Spec Solutions business. Upon consolidating business units, he became an Account Manager for the Honeywell Process Solutions business selling Process Automation including Advanced Software, Control Systems and Field Instrumentation. From there, he rose through the ranks to become Regional Sales Manager for Gulf Coast U.S. business, Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago and Engineering Procurement Contractors across all verticals. Most recently, Glende was Honeywell's Global Business Director for the ConocoPhillips Strategic Corporate Account.
