Appthority Identifies iOS App Security Risks at RSA Conference® 2013

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 19, 2013) - Appthority, The Authority in App Security™, today announced that the company's Chief Architect of iOS, Michael Price, will present on "The Anatomy of iOS Apps" at RSA Conference in San Francisco on February 27, 2013.

Price will address how to analyze iOS apps for security and privacy-related issues. He will provide insight into the inner technical workings of iOS apps, including the various purposes behind app files and content, how code signing works and details on app executables. The discussion will include real world examples of iOS app analysis techniques, including data from Appthority's iOS app collection. In addition, he will share some of the essential tools that researchers can use to find more information about iOS apps.
