April DoD RFID Summit Will See iRFID Product

MTKN Will Show New iRFID - Active Shipping Monitor for Pallets and Containers

SANTA BARBARA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 27, 2007 -- MachineTalker, Inc. (OTCBB: MTKN), developer of smart wireless security networks and tracking systems, today announced that it will feature its new iRFID tracking and security product at the DoD RFID Summit Conference at the Washington, DC Hilton on April 3rd and 4th (Visit Booth #409 for a demonstration of this tracking and security device).

The iRFID is an active, intelligent, wireless, HERO-approved MachineTalker® for attachment to pallets of munitions and any other valuable cargo in transport and storage. When appended to bulk shipments, each unit reports details of the freight manifest and will monitor detectors to maintain secure transport.

According to Gerry Nadler, Chief Scientist for the company, "The EPC Global RFID tags are integrated with our iRFID to form the wireless mesh MachineTalker RFIDnet™. This blending of EPC Global passive tags and the MachineTalker active tags provides the user with a powerful asset tracking tool with added capability to monitor sensors, log events in real-time, and maintain security of a shipping pallet or container."

The DoD RFID Summit is the official platform to share the latest updates to the DoD RFID Policy and to showcase ongoing progress in implementing the use of RFIDs in the DoD supply chain.
