Aptos Named a Leader by Global Independent Research Firm

Highest Scores in Evaluation Include Product Strategy and Vision and Extended POS

(formerly Epicor Retail Solutions) announced it has been named a leader in Forrester Research, Inc.'s latest Wave report on Point of Service (POS). Aptos was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in "The Forrester Wave™: Point of Service, Q3 2015."

As part of its evaluation, Forrester "identified the 10 most significant providers in the category" and evaluated them against 59 criteria. The report characterizes leaders as those vendors who, "... delivered mature, sophisticated, comprehensive current capabilities and 'out of the box' eCommerce integration, together with compelling strategy ..."

In the report, Aptos' support for a variety of transaction types and extended POS are cited as Aptos' highest rated features. As well, Aptos' product strategy and vision received a rating of 4.6/5.0, the highest rating in this category of all vendors evaluated.
